Texas trial lawyer Glenn W. Cunningham is a well-known and respected member of the legal community. He is recognized for having achieved remarkable success in medical malpractice and nursing home abuse and neglect cases. Beyond his accomplishments in the legal field, Mr. Cunningham is deeply involved in the local community, devoting his time and financial support to a local San Antonio charity he believes in: Meating the Need.
Improving the lives of San Antonio’s homeless population
Over the years, Mr. Cunningham and his wife Suzy have devoted time and energy to assisting this underserved community, including having donated a substantial amount of equipment to furnish the kitchen of St. Vinny’s Bistro (the dining hall of Haven for Hope), including two commercial ovens, a commercial warming oven, and an outdoor grill.
Chronic homelessness is a concerning problem in San Antonio, with a high percentage of the unhoused disabled persons, the elderly, and veterans. Access to nutritious foods can be difficult for the almost 3,000 homeless in the area. Meating the Need focuses on delivering high-quality protein in the form of frozen meats, along with other nutritious food staples to the Haven for Hope, which delivers about 1,200 meals per day, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meating the Need is supported by local churches, business owners, and others in the community, and their partner, Sysco Foods.
Mr. Cunningham invites others in the community to find out more about Meating the Need and participate as they are able in this worthy cause.
